Its origins date back to the year 1902, when Mariano Fuster commissioned the builder to construct for his wife what would be the most expensive house of its time, which would then become the greatest legacy of modernist architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner in the city.
The Hoteles Center chain acquired the building in 2000 and restored it, with respect to the originality of the building, while enhancing the uniqueness and spectacular nature of this fantastic architectural piece.
Once the restoration was completed the hotel opened its doors in 2004.
