Montblanc hosted the first award ceremony of the 27th Montblanc de la Culture Arts Patronage Award in one of Germany’s most magnificent royal palaces, recognizing Jürgen Wesseler for his exceptional contribution to the world of contemporary arts. The event took place at the Royal Residenz in Munich, the city palace where Ludwig II of Bavaria, one of the great patrons of the 19th century, resided. During the award ceremony, Montblanc unveiled its new Patron of Art Limited Edition writing instrument paying homage to Ludwig II, patron of composer Richard Wagner and builder of architectural masterpieces.
