You awaken atop your own private deck, secluded from the up to 12 guests you may have invited onto this fleeting oasis on the sea. After a professionally-crafted breakfast by your crew of up to 19, you ease through the four towering decks, passing vast windows, over two-stories high, that reveal nothing other than the vast ocean around you, allowing the light to filter in.
Amenities abound onboard Soraya 70, the new motor super yacht by Soraya designed by Jure Bukavec of Unielle Yacht Design with interior spaces by Jaka Derzic. The infinity pool is a masterpiece of crystalline luxury, giving swimmers the illusion of being entirely submersed in the shiny ocean that surrounds them. A foldable swimming platform at one end of the pool unfolds, revealing cascading steps to the water and even more space for you and your guests to indulge and enjoy. There is also a Jacuzzi on deck, a sauna and even a dance floor to let yourself go to the beat of your favorite tunes. For ultimate comfort, Soraya 70 is reinforced with noise/vibration control and motion stabilization.
SORAYA 70.
Amidst all this elegant beauty, you might forget about the highly reliable and cutting-edge technology that keeps the Soraya 70 afloat. Equipped with IP-integrated Bridge and SICCS control systems, this yacht is a grid of data designed to ensure safety, reliability, and oversight. The inclusion of a helipad at the bow grants owners and guests easy access to and from the yacht. Soraya 70 measures 70 meters from stern to bow, has a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure, ‘at anchor’ stabilizer that works at 0 speed, and cruises at a max speed of 17 knots. The engines are by Caterpillar.
Currently being built by Gentech with an expected launch date of 2013 in Turkey, the Soraya 70 has already garnered enough buzz to make old salts pay close attention. She is expected to debut at a price of $74 million.
