There are only 77 of its kind in the world, hence the name the One-77. The price is 1.4 million, and it made its North America debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance–an automotive charitable event. This car continues Aston Marin’s legacy of blending the highest level of engineering with exquisite craftsmanship.

The sleek, minimalist interior highlights functionality. The sound system, made from solid aluminum blocks, delivers 750 watts of undistorted sound. It was engineered to improve performance without adding weight to the vehicle, with subwoofer and woofer boxes integrated into the car’s carbon fiber structure for a seamless look.
The naturally aspirated 7.3-liter V12 engine was a special feature of this project. The engine team tried to take the 6.0-liter V12 engine as far as it could go, in terms of output and weight reduction. They achieved a mass reduction of 25 percent and a power output of 700 bhp. The result is a top speed of 220 mph, and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. The driver sits very low and slightly behind the center of gravity.
The One-77 already has an impressive list of followers. It has become a favorite among car aficionados like soccer stars David Beckham, Samuel Eto’o, and Hassanal Bolkiah the Prime Minister of Brunei, who owns one of the world’s most expensive car collections. ■
