Born and raised in England, Webster took an interest in the intricate process of jewelry design after an apprenticeship with the famed goldsmith, Tony Shepherd. He built his brand based on exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and an avant-garde vision. In 1982, he was recognized for his work and awarded with the prestigious De Beers honor.
After this esteemed recognition and growing success, Webster found inspiration in North America, first relocating to Canada, then to California, where he used colorful, exotic gems to echo the vibrant, fashion-forward essence of his West Coast clientele. In 1989, he then returned to London where he founded his namesake brand, Stephen Webster Ltd.

Since then, Webster has continued to grace us with his genius, designing both cutting edge, and yet more simple pieces, for his wide range of clients including many celebrities and socialites like Madonna, Christina Aguilera (he made her wedding band!), Kate Moss, Johnny Depp, Cameron Diaz, and many more. It is even noted that Elizabeth Taylor, the goddess of all things glamorous, once fell in love with a flower-engraved rose gold ring, commissioning a matching bracelet.
Webster’s most recent collections include looks that are both daring and darling. They are diverse and downright fabulous.
