The second of the brand’s 500 series follows the spectacular FB501 Imagination. The next delivery will be the FB503, scheduled for spring 2015. The 500 series yachts are 100% aluminum, 154 feet long and 26 feet wide. (some of the largest yachts in the world).
The Panthera has four decks that can comfortably accommodate 10 passengers and crew. The interior design is refined but never opulent. Its owner wanted to convey a sense of timeless elegance, with clean, soaring lines that perfectly match the metallic silver of the exterior.
The yacht’s interior is decorated in mostly gray tones with colorful accents. The accessories, fabrics and lamps, are from Armani Casa as is the large dining table, which is complemented by exclusive chairs from B & B Italia.
In addition, the boat’s owner commissioned a selection of large-format photographs throughout the main areas featuring fashion models and actresses, adding a touch of glamour to the spectacular yacht.
The Panthera boasts two VIP suites, one on the upper level and one on the lower deck, a master stateroom for the owner with private dressing room, and two additional double cabins, all with private baths. All the bathrooms have refined finishes in different Bisazza mosaics.
On the top deck, there is a solarium and Jacuzzi for the enjoyment of guest while on the open seas. There is also a garage, which accommodates both a tender and jet ski, with a large door opening onto a 110 square-foot swimming platform with enough room for beach chairs, shower and trampoline.
The living room or lounge, on the third level, features comfortable sofas and soft rugs, an invitation to spend time relaxing and taking in the amazing ocean views, while the main dining room offers the perfect combination of modern elegance and warmth. The beautifully decorated interior is matched by a truly spectacular exterior design; silver and gray metallic tones highlight the aluminum used to build the ship and its stunning tinted windows, which make the vessel look like a silver spear thrown at high speeds on the water.
The FB502 has two 3,860 hp MTU engines, able to reach a top speed of 24 knots and a cruising speed of up to 22 knots, as well as significant stability to eliminate noise and vibrations. This jewel of the seas can reach 3,200 nautical miles (5,900 km) at a speed of 12 knots, an amazing feat.
Elegance, style, design, luxury and high performance make the Benetti Panthera a unique vessel that confirms the prestige and building ability of a company with over 140 years of experience.
