On the Via della Fontanella di Borghese, right in the center of Rome, travelers searching for luxury and sophistication will adore staying at Fendi’s new hotel, located next to Via del Corso, one of the Eternal City’s most famous main streets. The hotel shares its space with a Fendi flagship boutique that carries handcrafted leather goods, and Zuma, a Japanese fusion restaurant.
Architect Marco Costanzi has designed all the hotel’s rooms and has created seductive spaces that intertwine the old and the new, with ample environments harmonized by the stylistic homogeneity of constructive and decorative elements.
The seven suites located in this elite establishment (two Palazzo suites, three Deluxe, one Junior and one Corner) are housed on the third floor of the Palazzo Fendi, a renovated seventeenth-century building that originally belonged to the Boncompagni Ludovisi family, Bolognese nobles who settled in Rome in the sixteenth century.
The new Fendi hotel will make your stay in the Eternal City a unique, luxurious, sophisticated and exclusive experience.
[more-links]Each suite proudly displays the unique characteristics that sets it apart. They all include a superb selection of furnishings, including upholstered furniture, lamps from the Fendi Casa collection, other decorative accessories and items created by some of the great names of Italian design, all combined masterfully with works from the private collection of the prestigious Italian firm. Carrara marble has been chosen in different varieties—white Calacatta, green Favakir and red Lepanto—for walls and bathroom floors, while the room floors are made from the finest oakwood.

The walls are adorned with platinum photographic prints of Rome’s most spectacular sights and monuments, captured by Karl Lagerfeld, the iconic creative director of Fendi’s leather and prêt-à-porter collections since 1965.
The bathrooms have exquisite finishes, and the beds are lined with satin sheets from Fendi Casa’s Makò collection. Additionally, guests can enjoy amenities like free WiFi, heated flooring, a safe and toiletries from the French perfumer Diptyque.
The seven suites all let in views of the immortal Italian metropolis and feature sitting rooms, elegant offices, large dressing rooms and other areas, all designed with Italian materials as typical and exquisite as leather, created in Fendi’s artisan leather workshop.
For a stay of utmost luxury, I recommend the Corner Suite, where guests will feel as if they are the only heir of an aristocratic Roman family. Positioned at the corner of Largo Goldoni, this spacious suite is divided into two rooms to provide maximum privacy.
The bedroom has four windows that fill the room with Roman light from dawn to dusk. Spacious, yet intimate, the living room is decorated with limited-edition furniture and design objects from Fendi’s private collection.
The new Fendi hotel will make your stay in the Eternal City a unique, luxurious, sophisticated and exclusive experience. ■
