The legendary automotive company Bugatti and Luxury Living Group, a renowned manufacturer of exclusive furnishings introduced the Bugatti Home Collection, a sophisticated line of furniture for the home and the office. The pieces are bold and flawless, but nostalgic at the same time because they are inspired by the Bugatti family.
Branching out of their comfort zone, the brand has achieved a milestone with this incursion into furniture design with a product that describes and defines the elegant and extraordinary lifestyle of the Bugatti family. Carlo Bugatti, father of Ettore—founder of the company—used to design unusual pieces of furniture, some of which are exhibited today in museums around the world.
Under the direction of Bugatti Design, and in collaboration with Etienne Salome, director of Bugatti Interior Design, the Italian architect Carlo Colombo carefully studied and reinterpreted the furniture imagined by Carlo to create new and unique pieces, which are in turn manufactured and distributed by Luxury Living Group.
The flagship automotive company Bugatti and Luxury Living Group, renowned manufacturer of luxury furniture, present Bugatti Home Collection, an exclusive series of furniture for home and office.
The inspiration for the collection can be easily appreciated in the familiar two-tone color scheme of Bugatti vehicles and their characteristic front grilles, which are echoed in the carbon fiber frames of the furniture. The pieces are built by a select team of craftsmen who masterfully apply the materials, such as steel, glass, leather and carbon fiber. The smooth and curvaceous lines evoke the aerodynamic design and the extraordinary performance of the brand’s vehicles.
The color palette that has been used historically by Bugatti are royal blue, light blue, silver gray, warm gray and the classic color of cognac.
The collection includes the following pieces; Royale Sofa, Royale Coffee, and Side Tables, Lydia Coffee Table, Lydia Bedside Table, Lydia Bed, Gianoberto Lamps, Ettore Office Chair, Ettore Low Cabinet, Ettore Grand Bureau Desk-Office, Ettore Bureau W/Small Drawers, Cobra Chair, Atlantic Table, and Atlantic Chair.
The Cobra Chair is a symbolic piece in this collection. A clear reinterpretation of the seat designed in 1902 by Carlo Bugatti, it combines the back, frame, and seat in a single element while the curves form an innovative design. This chair, upholstered in cognac leather and real blue carbon fiber, is a true example of avant-garde furnishings.
The Royal Armchair and Sofa offer volumes and proportions that provide high levels of comfort. The upholstered seat has the hand-rest and back wrapped in soft leather, combining them in a single element made of carbon fiber.
The Royale Lounge Table is designed for the elegant atmosphere of a sophisticated house. Its oval shape is held by an aluminum frame, extremely light, made with laser cut and geometric patterns used in the interiors of cars. The tabletop comes in tempered smoked glass, lacquered with the characteristic blue of the collection.
Finally, the Atlantic Table is an elegant steel and aluminum pieces covered with blue carbon fiber, and recoated in leather with aluminum details. At the top, we find the image of a legendary Bugatti representing the brand: the Atlantic Coupé 57 SC. ■
