Louis Vuitton City Guides, the new mobile application available from early November, incorporates the numerous cities scattered worldwide that integrate the collection of destination guides published by Louis Vuitton in their City Guide since 1998.
The selection reflects careful criteria of quality that defines those cities as original and glamorous travel destinations. These apps allow the user to locate hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, tea rooms, shops, spas, antique shops, designers, museums and galleries, and also offer interesting information which is constantly updated.
With this new Louis Vuitton guide in their touch screen phones, travelers will have immediate images of urban life, descriptions of places, suggestions of attractions and a personalized approach to each city with interactive links and geo-location. The original guides are easy-reading books that come in an 8.2 x 5.4 inches (20.8 x 13.8 cm) format and have 320 pages containing 600 addresses.
The new version is compatible with the mobile application that allows the user—with a simple touch— to have direct access to maps and detailed explanations on how to find the preferred destination. Also, the guide holders can share information via email or through social networks. Additionally, as a tasteful detail has been incorporated, a new tool that allows you to send your loved ones photos from the camera or from the gallery of images that integrates the guide. Moreover, access to the Louis Vuitton website is quick and easy.

This technological novelty is joined by an accessory that shows the natural distinction that characterizes Louis Vuitton: a small leather case with the classic monogram engraved in gold to protect the Ipad or Iphone—even the Iphone 6. It comes in four colors: blue, yellow, red and pink. Thus, the application that will surely become an indispensable assistant for the traveler, will also boast the glamour and distinction of the brand.
The Asian cities selected for the current stage of the new app are Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Singapore and Tokyo. The European cities are Berlin, London, Milan, Paris, Prague, Rome and Venice. In America, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Mexico City, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil are included. And elsewhere we will have to Sydney, Istanbul, Moscow and Cape Town.
Through this easy to use and ingenious application the traveler will be guided by Louis Vuitton to be a better informed tourist, and to be constantly connected to friends and family from anywhere in the world. ■
