You don’t need to own a superyacht in order to enjoy the luxury of vacationing on one of these impressive vessels on route to the most exclusive beaches in the world. There is a prolific market of spectacular yachts for charter. Read here about yachts.
The following two vessels stand for their luxury, performance, comfort, and a different navigation style.
Alfa Nero is a splendid motor yacht 269 feet long and 47 feet wide, made of steel and aluminum. It was built by Oceanco Yachts and designed by Nuvolari & Lenard in collaboration with Alberto Pinto in charge of the interior design. Large enough to accommodate 12 passengers, the ship has a master suite with an office, closets and a private deck with Jacuzzi; a VIP cabin with en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms, plus three additional double cabins. The vast halls of the main level —decorated with polished wood textures, bright colors and generous ornamentation—have ample space for a magnificent dining room, living area, bar and even a grand piano. For outdoor fun, the ship has a huge aft deck with infinity pool. Moreover, the vessel also features a professional kitchen, spa, gym and watersport equipment such jet skis. The Alfa Nero calls Monaco home, but according to its seasonal schedule, you could charter it and take it to the most exotic beaches for about $1.13 million a week.
The Kokomo sailboat is a great choice for those who love sailing, but are not willing to forego the comfort and luxury of a motor yacht. Built by Alloy Yachts and engineered by the team of Ed Dubois, this colossal 190-ft. sailboat can accommodate up to ten of your friends or family members. According to the superyacht builders from New Zealand, Kokomo was developed with the purpose of "creating a sailboat that offers new standards of performance, comfort and style." The master cabin takes the entire width of the stern and has two dressing rooms, en-suite bathroom and King size bed. There are also five double cabins, all with their en-suite bathrooms, and the main hall comes with a regal dining table, a full bar and a seating area framed by splendid windows. The ship boasts superb navigation performance: distinctly sporty, with a cruising speed of 13.5 knots and a maximum speed of 16 knots. The cost of renting the Kokomo is around $280,000 a week. ■
