The new Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupé exudes a leisurely character while retaining its air of distinction. The luxury carmaker offers a bespoke program that allows its clients to create a unique vehicle. The client has the option to match the fascia to the veneers that run throughout the car. The optional teak deck is made of 30 separate pieces of wood, all from the same tree for consistent grain. The signature hood is composed of five layers of material, and the interior is made from nine hides. The hand-stitched leather is reported to take over two weeks to complete. The Drophead Coupé is based on the J-class racing yachts of the 1930s.
