Louis Vuitton and Christofle are just some of the high luxe companies that are adding their signature Midas touch to the tech revolution. Willing to spend a little extra, elite geeks are turning to their favorite prestige brands for stylish computing accessories that do more than look pretty.
Luxe Tech Cartiers New USB Flash Drive.
When award-winning makers of data storage products, La Cie, wanted to design a luxury USB memory stick, they went to Christofle, one of the most recognized and respected brands in France. Having already worked with Philippe Starck and Porsche, La Cie recognized the value of good design and knew the luxury silversmith company would deliver. Together they created Galet, a stylish pebble-shape USB key, with a storage capacity of 4GB for taking your files on the go. La Cie also partnered with 5.5 Designers to create the CooKey, a USB designed to look like an actual key.
Another memory stick that proves geek-chic, and very in, is Louis Vuitton’s Damier Graphite USB Key, a data storage device and key ring in one. Also with a 4GB capacity, it can be attached through a snap hook to your belt or favorite bag.

One more tech treat worth noting is the Sphere 2 by Ore Object, a corded computer mouse that could easily be mistaken for a modern piece of art. Cast from the same surgical grade stainless steel used by medical companies, pharmaceuticals, and jewelers, this sleek mouse is Mac and PC compatible. ■
